Our CNC work is not a stand-alone service disconnected from the bench — it feeds directly into how frames are heat formed, cored, riveted and polished. That means cuts are chosen with the next step in mind, not just what a program can produce.

How the process runs
- Step 01
Files and drawings
We work from your CAD files, DXF or technical drawings, or produce drawings with you first if needed.
- Step 02
Material selection
Acetate is chosen from the sheets we hold in the workshop, or sourced to match your specification.
- Step 03
CNC cutting
Fronts, temples, components or tooling are profiled on the CNC bench, with test cuts where the design calls for it.
- Step 04
Hand-off
Cut parts leave the workshop cleaned up and ready for the next step — either back to you, or straight onto our own bench for heat forming and assembly.
Order quantities and timelines are agreed per project, once the brief is confirmed.

Questions we hear about cnc acetate cutting.
- Can you cut from files I already have?
- Yes. We work from CAD, DXF or technical drawings. If files need cleaning up before cutting we will flag it and quote the fix.
- Do you cut materials other than acetate?
- Eyewear-grade acetate is what the workshop is set up for. Other materials are considered on a case-by-case basis.
- Can you assemble the parts afterwards?
- Yes. Cut parts can be handed back to you, or continued on our own bench into heat forming, coring, riveting and finishing.
