For designers and brands
Services · Design support
Eyewear design and technical support, from people who make frames.
Design and drawings support from a team that actually makes frames, not just draws them. The advice you get is shaped by what will survive the bench, the CNC and the customer's face.
Design that carries through to making
We help brands, designers and opticians go from an idea or a rough sketch to a technical drawing that a workshop can actually cut. The service covers shape development, material choice, hinge and core selection, engraving details and anything else the production floor will need to know.
Who it suits
- Designers working on a first eyewear collection
- Brands moving from stock frames to their own designs
- Opticians developing a house frame
- Product teams who need drawings that a factory will accept
How the process runs
- Step 01
Discovery
We look at your references, sketches or existing frames and agree the direction, audience and any constraints.
- Step 02
Concept design
Shapes are drawn up and refined until you and we agree the front and temple outlines.
- Step 03
Technical drawings
Production-ready drawings are produced with all the information a workshop or CNC needs to cut.
- Step 04
Material and component advice
Acetate, hinges, cores, rivets and finishing details are chosen against the design and against how the frame will be worn.
- Step 05
Handover
You leave with drawings you can use with our workshop or elsewhere, and clear notes on what makes the design work.
Order quantities and timelines are agreed per project, once the brief is confirmed.

Frequently asked
Questions we hear about eyewear design and technical support.
- Do I have to manufacture with you afterwards?
- No. Design and technical support is a standalone service. Drawings are yours to use with whichever workshop you choose, though most clients continue with us.
- Can you improve drawings that already exist?
- Yes. A common brief is: 'we have drawings, but the last workshop said they were not production-ready.' We fix that.
- Do you sign NDAs?
- Yes, on request.
